Joe Deverell-Smith

Joe is a multi-instrumentalist actor-musician, specialising in guitar and classical text.

Growing up in Stratford-upon-Avon and starring in multiple Shakespeare plays from a young age, he is highly experienced and passionate in this form of theatre. An absolute Shakespeare nerd as his friends like to call him.

Joe trained at Leeds Conservatoire in Actor-Musicianship and plays guitar, bass, piano and harmonica to a high standard. He also loves to write and produce songs in his spare time and was asked to be 'Musical Coordinator' for Oddsock's summer tour of Much Ado About Nothing in 2023 in which he composed songs for the production.

Joe is an alumnus of Leeds Tealights comedy sketch group in which he wrote and starred in short sketches ending up at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022.

Legend has it some audience members are still laughing to this day...
